Yea that "building new stadiums" doesn't seem dodgy at all. If they are hooked up with the bidding contractors (or if it is a private tender process) than good chance there were kick-backs. FIFA sure seems to have its fair share of allegations against them when it comes to that area.

This can't be true because Putin today said that Seth Blatter deserves a Nobel Prize. If Putin backs you, you must be clean as a whistle.

If it's just an update that they are ahead of schedule or are under-budget then it's not really that big of a deal. A big deal to me would be a drastic design change.
