This will do.

I hear George Willig is going to climb the new 2 WTC and Phillippe Petit is going to lend a helping hand and tight-trope across on to the new 1 WTC.

The base is another fail. Too massive and too long.

I actually like that. By the way, I hear 2WTC is going to get an outdoor Observation Deck!

Request: Improvise

Can someone here get creative and modify and improve the new design? Post pictures of your renders when you're done. Thanks

What about Safety? Concrete Core? Stairwells? Something still doesn't add up. Can someone clarify?

Question is, why was Silverstein in a Hurry? Patience is a virtue. What about the safety features? This building looks like it stand on a pedestal.

The great video that shows why this will be the best of the WTC towers.

At the top of the tower when they raise the screen to reveal the skyline reminds me of the trip to the top of the Freedom Tower.

What a ridiculous video. The WTC site has nothing to do with tribeca, and this tower doesn't fit in with the complex at all.

The WTC is quite close to the southern edge of TriBeCa.

Yep, Silverstein's residential tower, 30 Park Pl. a couple blocks away is definitely considered to be in TriBeCa.

I like it.

My only complaint is the view from the north. That will take some getting used to...

I agree with another poster that it makes the site look more uniform. It looks like ONE complex rather than a gathering of four tall buildings huddled around the memorial. If accurate, I also like that the spires have been removed from 3WTC. It completes the element of it being one unit.

Now, lets get this thing under construction by the fall.

Did anyone notice The Simpsons clip showing in the Fox newsroom around the 1:47 mark?

It's the scene parodying 2001: A Space Odyssey that matches the video's Blue Danube Walz.

Now that's the cleverest thing I've seen about 2WTC here today!

I like this design better than Foster's personally. I never liked how Foster's roof looked like it was sheared off. I think this one meshes better with 1wtc from some angels. I still wish they had done twin towers, in some form, but I like how this one seeks to integrate different elements into it. Different strokes for different folks, but I can live with this one.

Wow, these last 10 pages were awfull, calm down everybody, you're taking this way too personally.

I actually like this tower, not my favorite of the four but a solid #2 in my book. And I like all of them.
Can't wait to see it go up, it's going to be impressive

I like the boxy, stepped side but not the solid one. Thought the newsreels on the bottom of the boxes were cool until I read comments about Fox News headlines. Overall I like that it feels different from the other more sterile glass boxes.
