I would think that the columns would support the roof no? The actual walls that frame it likely CMU though?

The roof would be supported by columns of some sort, with walls being the filler. Especially the cantilevered roof. Needs to be held both up and down along the perimeter of the stadium.

Well you could say that about every level.

If you zoom in on the web cam, you can see the top of the infinity bowl being formed on the east side.

Yup pretty spectacular. However, the sense of size is lost on the webcam. If you stand on the west side looking back at the east side, it looks twice the size! Also to think that is only the club seating and second deck. The majority of the seating on that side is still to be built!

Nothing formal planned over the next few weeks. Next significant one is in May.

Does anyone other than me want to change the name of this thread to "New Mosaic Stadium (Under Construction)"?

^That sounds reasonable. If you PM 1ajs, they should be able to help with that.

I noticed going West on 11th Avenue, you can start to see the structure peak above the treeline. It's going to very visible down that corridor once it's complete.

I was thinking so.

And yes it is quite a site from 11th. I can just imagine the finished structure at night all lit up during a night game and snapping some great pics from street level or the pedway

Thanks Migs!
The comparison images gives me a much better understanding of what we are seeing so far, and what's to come.
