^ I was/am curious about this myself. I just went to their website to see where they have stores/outlets, and they have exactly zero stores in Canada.
So this would make it not only a first for Ottawa, but also Canada, which seems a bit unusual. Is the OP certain about what he/she saw? Maybe it's some other store touting itself as point-of-sale for Desigual items?
In fact, digging deeper it appears they only have a dozen or so stores in the entire USA (NYC, LA, SF, MIA).
