Is Ottawa Urbanism even doing anything? I haven't heard from them in the media and I haven't received any emails.

Wow, those are some half-decent renders.

These look incredible! I so wish that these would get built. Please, please, please let good fortune smile on Ottawa.

Also, it appears this is called Vibe? And includes an 18, 45, and 55-storey building.

Ugh. Please, not another NYC-themed name!

Bahaha, oh yes! And yet people say that we, in Ottawa, are huge prudes.

Looks a little too much like Ice for me, but it's nice density.

What a welcome relief to downtown's tabletop 27-storey skyline! It was a smart idea to display in shadow-form the other towers proposed for this area so as to make the 55-storey tower look within context and precedent for the area. If these towers, the Icon, SOHO Italia, and whatever eventually goes on the current CIBC lot get built, this area will be stunning. Finally some housing that takes advantage of Dow's Lake!

Will be such a great neighbourhood if this happens. They just need a proper grocery store in the podium of one of these or maybe a little further up on Preston so as to service Lebreton as well. Great restaurants/pubs at your doorstep, access to Dow's and NCC paths, good access to highway via Parkdale or Bronson. So many units to sell though. We're looking at 10+ years to get even half of these proposed under construction I would bet.

When I saw Vibe, I thought of Minto@Lansdowne...

Anyway, I love this proposal! Best of all; there's a variation in height!!!!

It would be awesome if the also built a proper station for the O-Train, a seamless integration with their complex.

Since these renders are from the architects' site not the developer's, we should not get our hopes up too much. Many architects and designers put up fantasy projects in their portfolios just to show off their ideas.

Wow wow and wow... Love these! Love the variation in height, love the circular shape instead of the square and love the lighted mechanical penthouses/roofs! Would be amazing to see at night!

Please please please get this, icon, Richcraft's proposal and the SOHO Italia built asap so I can enjoy and finally be proud of this piece of my city

I wish you were wrong, but sadly you're not. Original renders hardly ever end up being remotely close to the final product, but I hope they do in this case.

Any news on the potential release date? Have they been approved for the heights?

Wow, this render looks stunning. Would definitely turn Ottawa's skyline on its head(in a good way). I hope developers read this forum so that they can see how enthusiastic we are about this design.

I wanna see some winter pics too, considering this city turns into a frozen wasteland for 4/5 months of the year :/

If you believe for one second that a 55 storey building will ever EVER be built in this city then you've been partying too much with the mayor of Toronto. I wish it weren't true. Sorry.
