Greensburg, PA (pop ~ 15,000) is the county seat of Westmoreland County (pop ~ 350,000). The city is located about 30 east of Pittsburgh and is part of the Pittsburgh Metro area.
An interesting item from Wikipedia's article about the city - "The city ranks seventh in Pennsylvania in terms of daytime growth, behind Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Harrisburg, King of Prussia, Lancaster, and State College. It also ranks 16th in the United States for daytime growth among towns with a resident population between 15,000 to 24,999.[5] In 2007, Greensburg was ranked as one of the "Best Places to Retire" in Pennsylvania by U.S. News & World Report.
Most of the pics are from around the downtown area which is perched atop one of the many hills in the city. To me this place is another one of the many smaller city urban gems in PA.
