Note it is also used for other provinces as well. The Beer Store, TV Ontario, and hydro in Ontario are referred to as "state-run" enterprises. As is NB Power in New Brunswick.

Off-topic, and I couldn't swear to it, but I don't think I've ever heard "state-run enterprise" used to describe a Crown corporation or publicly-owned entity (in Canada). Maybe an English/French language thing.
