Woah! Those buildings on the right side of the picture [including Q1/Q2] look so f'ing realistic! Looks like a renderings made by an architectural firm or and actual picture!

Great job Mo! Aon looks really good too. Will you add people to this city?

The AON Buildings looks very nice and elegant, but my favorite is that tall light brown building in the middle. I'd like to see more of that.

Usually i don't post unless i have a pic but it's been a while and i haven't said thanks for the comments
There will be people and many real cars that i have spent a long time making into smaller files.

Vellu, The big brown one in the middle is a design by Patrick Griffin. He let me model it but i want to do more detail.

and here's a quick render of some new developments.

Left to right:
Aon tower, you have already met. A rip off of the Sydney Aon tower.

The Precidion , 50 floors - Office. A modern feel to 1950's styling? Precidion is also in the earlier pics.

BBC Money (Big bad crooks) 48 floors - Financial. A rip off from building in Sydney's Parramatta CBD.

The last has no name and is not finished.

Thanks. !

You can say that again. Mo, you're fucking amazing. I wish I had your rendering skills. I love the PMD, such a great detail. I imagine your city takes a buttload of space?

And Galcorp Plaza looks amazing! Leave it as it is. Maybe add some trees in those atrium's or something?

Glad you like it, n' thanks !
I had fun drawing Precidion, I think i will put my virtual SU office there.
Aleks- I do them in 2200x200m stages now cos i worked out how to export multiple stages seperately then join together. This one stage is 30mb. The same is happening in SSP city-R.
I can't wait to post a ridiculously large fully rendered image

Maybe Patrick has some suggestions for GGC Galcorp ? I'm not even sure i have modelled it to the original paper sketch idea.

I like the metal colour but i think a different colour could make the attriums 'gel'.

Hey the long PDM is absolutley fantastic and the interior view is just awesome.
You're definitely down with ground level issues.

Zaha Hadid Legacy Project Nixed by Developer
Quote:
While the sudden passing of world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid made headlines earlier this year, there remains a short list of legacy projects that are either under construction or in the planning stages, which if completed will cap off what has been a highly distinguished career. However, thanks in equal part to the strong objections of locals, Brisbane City Council, and more specifically, to a recent move by the Sunland Group to cancel one of these projects altogether, the much-anticipated — at least to the broader architectural community — Mariner's Cove Towers are no more.
Jupiters Hotel and Casino Undergoing Huge Revamp and Rebrand

Quote:
Set in the Gold Coast suburb of Broadbeach, Jupiters Hotel and Casino has been one of Australia's premier entertainment hubs for 30 years. The Star Entertainment Group, owners of the property, see this as the most opportune time to embark on a large-scale revamp of the aging complex, and are spending at least $345 million AUD to refurbish and expand its presence. With assistance from their Hong Kong partners Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and Far East Consortium, the first stage of that redevelopment is currently underway, with an even larger component expected to dazzle in the near future.
