Smile Flying over Lake Mead and Grand Canyon

First time I went to the US was in 1994, as I'm scanning my old photos, I found these ones, interesting enough to be shared:

1. The small plane I took

2. Boulder city, NV

Lake Mead

3.

4.

5.

6.

7.

8.

9.

10.

Hoover Dam (if only I had a zoom )

11.

12.

13.

14.

Approaching the Grand Canyon

15.

16.

17.

18.

19.

20.

22.

I hope one day I'll see it from the ground, IMO it's much more impressive.

Cool. Love the retro film scanning and I love the fractal patterns of some lakes from the air. Thanks Sandy.

Thanks for the old skool pics.

And...yes....the Grand Canyon is much more impressive in person than in any photo or whatever....I had seen it in textbooks, online photos, magazines etc...then I went...and I saw... and OMG!!!! WOW!!!!

Great pics!!! If you were to fly over Lake Mead right now you would see a whole lot less of the lake. It's down over 100ft from the time these were taken... stupid drought.
