There is a decent amount of retail in that area. It's a block north of two Italian restaurants, the shops in Tree Studios, Chili's, Red Head piano bar, Whole Foods, a Starbucks, Bijan's, and a bunch of other stuff.
Not every building needs retail in it, and who knows - maybe the final version will have some retail.
