^ I thought LaGrange said the original roof was zinc, not copper, and that they would be restoring to the original material.

I actually do not like the way the restored building looks - it has that "fake patina" feeling about the copper that has no variation and looks very cheap to me. It's either painted steel or it's been "pre-weathered" to give it the correct color, but it has no texture. Oh well, I'm glad it's still standing at all I suppose.
