I think you know how disingenuous those photos are. Sure Vancouver has a lot of SFH neighbourhoods but it also has many highrise residential neighbourhoods that Auckland doesn’t (and aren’t in your pics). The highrise area you pictured shows their CBD.

Also note that article briefly refers to many unsold units. Perhaps like here, those shiny new townhouses are still unaffordable.
