Your regional breakdowns for Philly are actually for Detroit.
Among U.S. metros, DC is highly underrated and Philly is a notable underperformer. DC has really broad, almost Toronto-like diversity, but hidden in sprawl. Philly has notable in-town diversity but suburbs don't have much, besides the standard Indians-in-McMansion typology.
