9C and light rain in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to 20C this afternoon.

Five days of gloom coming up, with persistent overcast and rain showers. Highs will only be 9-12C. We will be back to normal by next Tuesday.

It could be worse - they are expecting snow in southwestern Newfoundland this weekend,

Is Tancredi still following this thread. He would be leaping in the air in absolute rapture.

MonctonRad, I was at the Q vs O game of the memorial cup last night. Moncton Wildcats were well represented by a few fans donning their jersey. Cool to see all the different jerseys from every different league.

Its been a fun event to attend, and some great hockey.

Currently 10c on its way to 29c with a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon/evening.

I am retiring in five weeks. Perhaps I will attend a few Memorial Cups in the upcoming years. I would have liked to have gone to this one in Kelowna.

Except Vancouver has been far from such conditions for a long while. April and May have been quite mild and sunny.

Average high for May in Montreal is 19.4, in the end I think you will get up to 19. something for the month.

2 above average days with no records broken. I fail to see the monster heat wave. May about to end a full degree BELOW normal.

7C and overcast in Moncton at 9 AM, only getting up to 8C this afternoon with rain.

The shite weather is due to a northeasterly flow off the gulf, and this is what is bringing the onshore rain as well.

Again, it could be worse. The snow predictions for southwestern Newfoundland also now includes Cape Breton, especially the highlands.........

Was 18 at my house at 7:30 this morning, crazy for this time of year. More heat today and tomorrow before a ton of rain this weekend, going to be watching the rivers closely!

And it's going to change again this weekend. Us in Edmonton will likely see daytime highs drop by almost 15 degrees between now and Sunday. Lots of rain predicted to start tomorrow evening and likely will last into Monday, which is welcome since we haven't had a ton of rain this spring so far.

Thankfully, we had an above average snowfall this winter that has helped prevent things from getting too dry, so the timing of this rain is great.

Yeah I'm going to be watching the rivers closely this weekend like I sad, the melt will be in full effect in time for up to 100mm of rain to fall in the next week. The snowpack in the rockies is about 2x normal in some river basins, this could get interesting...
