That’s the beauty too of having the official opposition pursuing these important matters. Eventually the Libs cave and realize that it is in fact very important to have trans national infrastructure for moving our valuable oil sands and natural gas. The Libs have been warned for 10 years now of the necessity to reach global markets because we are entirely dependent on the USA, only to end up with a lunatic president in the US that forces our hand… to quote one of Canada’s greats, “I hate to say I todaso, but I f’n todaso” - Ricky

This campaign is gonna be fun. They are basically gonna debate who can implement the Conservative platform better.
Seriously? Despite political backlash, the Liberals spent $5 billion to literally buy a freaking pipeline because they knew how important it was to get to other markets. The first one in decades to go somewhere other than the USA. Harper chose to go south. He was a Conservative BTW.

Selling oil is not a Conservative platform. We sell 30% more oil today than we did under Harper.
