Different issues, same style, same mud splatter. I've already seen one from some group I've never heard of before.

Here’s the lefty propaganda you’re looking for. This “anonymous” group funded by the liberals and NDP.

I guess this is why the Conservatives cancelled media availability, because they're intellectual cowards?

That's the one I saw the other day. I hate that kind of crap.

Funded by "liberals" or funded by "Liberals"?

Neither side of the centre line are clean when it comes to this type of trash. Hyper-partisans just sort of ignore it when it comes from their team, and get outraged when it comes from the other team. The ads do nothing but spread misinformation and propaganda, and it only further divides people.

I long for the days of civil campaigns, but I think those days are well behind us.

EDIT: Case in point below lol

Those smears are position based and align with Polievre's voting record.

This week we have had two right conspiracy media groups target Carney's kid and made allegations about Epstein child pornography.

Where are the left conspiracy media groups doing similar smears on Polievre?

Trump has no plan, and lies all the time. There's no great mystery.

They might. They were hyper focused on Trudeau. Perhaps you remember the flags and stickers?

Maybe they should have educated themselves on how our system works and who might be to blame. But they didn't. And PP/CPC didn't help. They've made their bed, time to lay in it and see what happens.

So far, the Canadian stock market doesn't seem unduly concerned. I've been a bit puzzled.

Jesus Christ these questions are pathetic. The journalist gets on a soapbox and wastes 30-60 seconds of everybody's life. "You used a government jet to fly to Europe! This costs taxpayer money!!!" Refund the taxpayer money?

Then he interrupts the PM trying to answer? What a POS.

These guys are Peewee coaches trying to tell NHL players what to do.

Funny Carney is talking like a CEO, which is exactly what CPC supporters claim they want.

During Trump 1.0 I thought the markets would crap but they didn't. They aren't always rational, but I think they are looking at any trade disruptions being short term, then some kind of massive tax cut to help the rich and large corporations make more money.

Ya really stupid questions.

Likewise with the blind trust questions… there is obviously blatant conflict of interest with what his investments are in and the policies he will be implementing, and has supported in the past, such as limiting Canadas potential for oil& gas development, while entirely making money in O&G other countries.

But… that is why it goes into a blind trust, so their decisions while in power doesn’t appear to be a conflict of interest.

Unfortunately Vladimir Putin does, and he has Trump's ear. Putin's plan, is to destroy the United States from within, and he is using Trump and Musk to do this by proxy. Sadly, it's been widely successful for the Russians.

This is not anything new. The Russians have been doing this for nearly a century. Right now Belarus, Hungary, Georgia, and Slovakia, are more or less puppet states of Putin. They also tried to unsuccessfully, to do the same in Roumania and Ukraine.

Everything Trump is doing, from imposing Autocratic rule over America, to attack their allies, and weakening NATO is right out of Putin's playbook. It's the only thing that explains the actions of the Trump Administration.

"Boots, not suits" - the latest CPC / Pierre slogan as he appears not wearing a suit. The french translation is so lost...

Is the CPC party serious about winning?

New book on Pierre Poilievre is set to come out at the end of the month:

"Mark Bourrie’s new book “Ripper” will have Pierre Poilievre running for cover. Poilievre “represents the dark side of our nature” writes the award-winning author. “This is a book about how Canada made its own version of Donald Trump.”

"Pierre Poilievre has enjoyed most of the advantages of the mainstream Canadian middle class. Yet he’s long been the angriest man on the political stage. In Ripper: The Making of Pierre Poilievre, bestselling author Mark Bourrie, winner of the Charles Taylor Prize, charts Poilievre’s rise through the political system, from teenage volunteer to outspoken Opposition leader known for cutting soundbites and theatrics.

Bourrie shows how we arrived at this divisive moment in our history, one in which rippers are poised to capitalize on conflict. He shows how Poilievre and this new style of politics have gained so much ground—and warns of what it will cost us if they succeed."

But the blind trust question came from the globe and mail, and Rosemary Barton asked somewhat of a similar question (I think) from the CBC, so those sorts of questions don’t just come from outlets like the Western Standard.

To be honest, some questions (not all) that are asked from like The Rebel I believe are legitimate questions meant to be asked to hold our elected representatives accountable, which is a good thing, especially when it comes to tax dollars being spent. It’s just that The Rebel is a far right outlet that automatically any question from them gets dismissed, which I don’t think is fair.
