Saint John is not only Canada’s second largest port by total tonnage, it hosts Canada’s largest oil refinery that exports 80% of its refined products to the United States. While Trudeau and Pierre Poilievre want to talk about build housing on our ports and doing nothing about it, Mark Carney wants to build them into world class cities of commerce and industry.

Saint John was once the second largest Canadian port by tonnage. These days Montreal and Sept Iles both handle more cargo. So does Quebec, some years.
