I have my fingers crossed hoping this development goes forward. That corner of downtown desperately needs a developer to lead the way and show others that projects are viable there.
I hate this part of downtown. The pedestrian experience on King and just South on York Street is as terrible as pedestrian experiences get. The downtown is still so bombed out in this area. All my life this part of downtown has been a wasteland.
With Farhi demolishing the LFPress building, we now have yet another undeveloped block to add to the area. Currently the worst part of downtown. It has no redeeming qualities.
