I’m generally in favour of accent lighting on buildings, as I think it brightens up the city, especially on the numerous wet and gloomy nights we often have around here.

Which ones are ‘done right’ will probably garner as many different opinions as which architecture is attractive and which is ugly… and there are no wrong answers, you like what you like.

So for me, I’d rather see lighting features than not. In many cases it can only be an improvement on the building design, because IMHO a lot of them don’t look so great in the daylight…
