Ditto on missing mcminsen’s pictures on here, they help with some of my homesickness.

As for BC, so far September has been so/so on the coast but actually pretty nice in the interior (like August), currently 30.0 in Osoyoos. But, it looks like today is going to be the last pool / lake swimming day of the year (a few spots may get a decently warm day tomorrow too depending on how fast the cold front moves)

After that there is still some decent weather in the forecast, sun, cloud, and temps from the high teens to the low 20s. Good fall weather.

So I hope everyone is making the most of it today and saying farewell to summer!

21C (humidex of 22) and mainly sunny. A bit more cloud cover later this afternoon.

Low of 16C this morning.

The warmspot was Merrit, BC at 31.7C. Most likely the last 30C of the year in Canada.

Warmest low was Port Weller, ON at 18.2C.

Cloudy today, high of 22.1 and low of 16.7. Only 1.7mm of rain

Warm tonight, currently 21.2 with lightning in the distance, but no rain

Thanks and yes, I'm hanging in there and look forward to getting back to my usual outings when I can.
Right now, I'm in my seventh week of radiation treatments so it usually takes all my focus and energy to
just get to the cancer centre and then straight home again. I'm glad I wasn't doing this schedule in November
and December. Most of the weather recently has been very pleasant.

This morning was sunny and promising but then it clouded over for the afternoon. Light showers developed
in the evening.

Tuesday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 19 C, the low was 15 C.

Radiation therapy can knock the stuffing out of you, but, once completed, you will regain your strength within a couple of months.

14C and cloudy in Moncton at 9 AM. The overcast will persist all day, hence why the expected high temperature is only 18C.

Nice to see your photos again mcminson. Hope you are doing well, my dad went through such treatments, it's not always easy. All the best.

It's about 16C here today. I think the rainy season has begun, which is quite a contrast from yesterday. There is not much visibility today.

The sun has returned, high of 22.8 and low of 18.3.

Monarch butterflies have been flying along the lake shore gathering for their flight to Mexico, we've seen a lot the past couple weeks. Many other types of butterflies were attracted to the asters as well

Yellow sulphur and orange sulphur

A type of katydid

Cabbage white

I'm betting that today could be the last 30+ day in Canada, 30 degree readings across the west today, in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

This morning in the Okanagan was full summer, with temps ranging from 27 to 30 at 1pm (some spots, such as Penticton and Summerland didn't go below 20 last night), but then the cold front swept through, and now at 4pm its fall!

16C and cloudy. Breezy as well. If this kind of day happened a month later in the year, it would have taken care of a lot of leaves. Thankfully, everything is still green (just some hints of color here and there) so no damage done.

Low of 13C this morning.

The warmspot was Moose Jaw, SK at 35.0C. What a day out West. I said yesterday was the last 30C day in the country. Boy was I wrong. 83 total stations were over 30 today.

Warmest low was Port Colborne, ON at 18.6C

We got up to 24 officially but some areas were definitely warmer. Didn't reach to record 29. We are now going into more traditional temps mid to low teens and single digits at night.

Not sure about you in St. Albert but me just north of downtown Edmonton received about a half inch of rain last night/this morning, so was quite nice to wake up to that.

Yup my plants loved that last night. But could use more. There was a thunderstorm watch last night as well as an aurora watch.
