18 Elm Street - 4s - HDC London (Under Construction)

Zoning application for a 4 story 42 unit affordable apartment building is proposed for 18 Elm St between Trafalgar and Hamilton Rd.

Good use of that former school property. But you know the single family home residents across and behind are gonna lose their shit over this.

City planning staff recommends that council should approve the zoning change. Goes to planning committee on July 25th.

Looks like this project is underway.


Excavator now on site digging for the foundation it appears.

They have wrapped up the foundation footings and walls now and are working on the under slab utilities. Should see any structural steel posts and elevator/stairwell ground floor walls being formed soon.

No additional structural steel has been installed on this build. They have started building some of the ground floor concrete block walls on the east end. Appear to be prepping to pour the ground floor slab on the west wing.

Have now got some more of the structural steel posts installed along the west wing of this building fronting Elm St. Some more of the ground floor concrete block walls have also been built.
