Lets hope this frivolous lawsuit gets thrown out. Could this grind development to a halt?

How can the Dakota claim what was ceded in Treaty One and is outside their traditional territories? They claim the Forks are traditional Sioux land. My understanding is that the Winnipeg area was mainly Ojibway, Cree and Assiniboine but can anyone correct me on that? According to a separate CBC article they want majority control of the Forks land, profits and final say on all grants, leases, licences or permits
