That's pretty much what it was before the pandemic. Crush load. Sometimes had to wait for the next train, sometimes missed your stope because it wasn't possible to get out of the train through the crowd. Urban bus routes were, and often still are, like that.
And now the City will cut train frequency mid-day just in time for return to school and work to achieve that crush load off peak (but won't because people will just abandon transit).
Imagine if roads were treated like transit. Can't "cut" roads to save money though.
