Red face TORONTO | 8 Elm St. | 715 FT | 69 FLOORS

This one has seen one or two revisions over the years.

8 Elm: a proposed 68-storey mixed-use condominium building designed by IBI Group for Pemberton Group and The Muzzo Group on the northwest corner of Elm Street and Yonge Street, in the Bay Street Corridor neighbourhood.

I took these two yesterday, just a quick image. They demolished the buildigns on site, retaining one facade on Elm, and are starting to either remediate or excavate. I assume the latter.

69 floors is a lot of floors for a 715-foot high building.

This could become one of my favourites. Only thing I don't like is how it will block the view of Aura looking north from Yonge. Although that's mostly an issue at night since daytime Aura isn't that attractive due to the balcony section.
