These towers could definitely become JC's icon, I could see in the future that when people think of Jersey City they picture these towers in their head! Is the second tower supposed to go up when the first is completed or when the first's units are filled out?

The second tower is u/c, alongside the first tower. It's just a few weeks or months behind.

And there's no way this becomes an icon for JC. There will be taller and more distinctive towers built. This complex is large and impressive, but not at all iconic.

I'd bet on the Journal Square Transportation Center being replaced with an iconic complex. Hopefully a grand hall for PATH and some impressive neighboring towers.
