German developer Bewocon has released plans for a 150-metre skyscraper in Berlin, which could become the tallest building in the city. Designed by architecture firm Ortner & Ortner, this building was originally proposed in 1994 as part of a larger master plan for Berlin. After multiple adjustments and discussions regarding the proposal, the tower now has support from the local government. Bewocon filed a planning application in June of 2016 for the project with the hope that permission will be granted to them to allow construction to begin in September. If everything goes according to plan, the building will be completed in 2019.
