Exactly. I am seriously considering New Westminster in my next apartment search. I may even buy a reasonably priced 'pre leaky condo era' 1 bed there, they can be had for around 150,000 and often quite large. It's a great city. Maintenance fees and taxes are a bit higher but more then offset by the lower price of condos.
