Transborder overview for summer 2013.
Heres a list of this spring/summers transborder flights for YEG.
-Minneapolis/St.paul. 21 flights per week. Delta Connection.
-Seattle. 21 flights per week. Alaska/Horizon Air.
-Chicago O'Hare. 14 flights per week. United Express
-Denver. 21 flights per week. United Airlines, United Express. (20 flights per week from July to August)
-San Francisco. 14 flights per week. United Express.
-Newark. 6 flights per week. United Airlines.
-Houston. 14 flights per week. United Airlines. (7 flights per week from July to August)
-Phoenix. 9 flights per week. US Airways, WestJet.
-Las Vegas. 18 flights per week. WestJet, Sunwing Airlines.
This summer see's capacity increase for YEG to the U.S. with EWR being added, Las Vegas is increased by WestJet adding 2 additional frequencies per week and Sunwing resuming twice weekly summer service. San Francisco increases to twice daily (up from one daily), and Denver see's a small seat increase with the addition of United mainline metal 6 days per week. Keep in mind a few seasonal reductions on the Phoenix route and Houston see's a reduction for a much shorter period compared to last year aswell. Aswell a few of the seasonal WestJet destinations take a break for the summer.
Looks like it should be a strong summer for growth in the transborder sector.
