Ive been saying for a long time that this area is the next to really take off and it will very shortly.

There were plans to renovate the Commercial and Garfield buildings during the boom years if i recall correctly. With Angelina (8th and Grand), the 33 story tower on 9th and Olive and the 8th and hope project all breaking ground in the next 60 days, as well as the Embassy hotel project, i can see these two buildings being activated shortly. To be honest, i will be taking an investor to various sites in downtown next week, and i will be strongly pushing this area and these buildings.
