B.C. is in for a stormy winter this year.

The Weather Network’s Chris Scott, meteorologist and forecast operations manager, is predicting a “fairly active” winter for the southern part of the province.

“If you’ve got some major trips planned, it’s the time of the year to be aware of what’s going on with the weather because we do think we’ll see our share of storms,” Scott said.

“We’ve had some early tastes of it, but we’ve got a few more on the way.”
