The ongoing discussions and popular talk between city officials suggests this subject is being studied, and policies/development plan are currently taking shape (I recently attended a presentation put on by city planning officials and they indicated a new master plan is expected to be released in 2011. It will be developed with citizen input to gauge appetite for densification, brown field and green field development, and what mix of these philosophies/objectives should Saskatoon pursue, as well as highlighting major implications for our overall urban environment).
