You know the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, so I don't know why they just don't go straight now 111 St to the Town Centre site in the original plan, and up the CN ROW in the NE extension plan... It seems like a no brainer to me. Then again, there are a lot of things I think the city doesn't do when it comes to LRT are no brainers, like setting aside ROW's immediately and not allowing developers to build on them. LOL! The city has plenty of ROW set aside through out the city.
