I shocked!

An major art / decoration piece is being implemented without being changed and downsized 30 times!

Is it pretty tho? Idk

Looks like a gimmicky installation that exists just to wreak havoc on wealthy people standing underneath during a mega quake in Hollywood movies

I think it's a greenhouse rest area next to the running track.

It's a mechanism for selling quite small apartments next to a busy road in Burnaby at $1,200 psf+. Concord called it a conservatory. It's also instructive to see the difference between marketing renders and actual engineering. In an earthquake, I know which one I prefer.

A while back, someone was asking what those cut‑outs in the conctrete on the west tower were for. They have now installed metal bars, and I believe they are for a running track.
They have also dismantled the crane on the shorter west tower.

Those thicker floorplates sort of matchup I assume with how they change the floorplans?

5-39
40-44
45-59
60-64

They were at level 40 at the start of the year so I'll go with July 28th.

Awesome, thanks for the update so that's around 72% finished. A good chunk to come; should really make a dent in the skyline looking towards Metrotown from downtown and from the burbs too.

They’re kind of behind with the balcony installation. It’s starting to remind me of the Oakridge balcony situation, where the tower looked almost complete except for the balconies.

They cut open the nearby parkade level.

....

I imagine the fact that these are enclosed balcony system, along with the installation of that lighting feature - all imply that the balcony railing and finishing will take longer than it would for a typical tower with standard non-enclosed balconies.

Also, it might simply be a matter of schedule management.
They might simply be slow-walking the completion of those two shorter towers to allow the taller tower to top out and have the entire development's completion to be more in sync.

I think once they figure out the installation issues with that test fit I think we'll see it quickly go up.
