Prora
Prora, originally intended to be a seaside resort of the Nazi organisation "Kraft durch Freude" (KdF), is located on the island of Rügen in northern Germany. The buildings were constructed between 1936 and 1939. The massive building complex was planned as a holiday locale, but was never used for this purpose. Today it has a formal heritage listing as a particularly striking example of Third Reich architecture.
