I just realized that the newly Charcwhited old building behind this one is still called 'The Dowsview', but no longer has a view of Dow's Lake from any window in the entire building

Thats some deep black bricks in the middle! It looks weird frankly! For real, I think Charcoal would've look better (Don't throw tomatoes at me lol)

It does look weird but for some reason every new building nowadays seems to need multiple exterior finishes.

Must be in city bylaws somewhere. All new developments MUST include a mix of charcoal and beige brick with mismatched patterns and a height between 27 and 32 stories. And if multiple towers in one project, they must all be the same height.

Central section should have been glass, or stick with the beige. At least it's not as disjointed as Claridge.

Overall, if we ignore the vantablack section, it's quite a competent project. Looks simple, but high quality. It's shorter than most of its neighbours, but still takes a confident spot in the skyline.
