I love the scale, and the tiers at the top. I agree it's too beige.

James between the tracks and Burlington St. is an odd duck. Somewhat like a minor arterial in Stoney Creek, or akin to what you see in parts of many small towns (Simcoe or St. Thomas for example, just going by memory of those two)

Seems this one started demolition recently. Saw some machinery on site and the back of the corner building has been ripped out. Demolition permit has been issued, so this seems correct. This will be another vacant lot soon enough.

Off-white stucco? I wonder.

Scale is totally appropriate, and it's much better designed than many buildings geared to seniors (not that it takes much effort to do that)

Still just a hole. Wondering about 600 James St too. They both got demolition permits but haven't applied for construction yet.
