hey wait a minute. What about the folks that live north of the building. They will never see the escarpment, the changing of colours.

We need a 0m height limit so as to not block the view of the escarpment. lol

If you’re a fan of sunlight and balcony gardening maybe this will be perfect for ya. The park needs people to animate it. These proposals will do that. Sure it needs larger trees and less asphalt but it will get an update in 20 years?
I suspect sooner. It's already looking a bit rough. The coloured humps are already broken with giant shreds ripped out and micro plastic pieces littering the asphalt. I suspect it will get a refresh after this development is complete.

Really looking forward to this one. Since the Wesley center closed the park here is much more approachable.

The sad part is wherever those types of places "relocate" to will tank that area of the city..

we need an industrial park for this kinda stuff, like a whole area of rehabilitation like mac business park.

the irony is if everything is built to JUST the height of the escarpment, you're not going to have a view of the escarpment anyways..

although I can see an argument of not having everything gigantic so that no sun ever approaches the street level, like parts of toronto, all cold windy and gusty..

I think the point of this is actually so stuff in the Lower City isn't visible from anything South of Fennel. They don't want random buildings just popping up in the distance.

I see they've now removed the little scoopy features on the main floor - they just keep making this more and more generic..

They have been preparing for sales launch for a while - this shows it’s getting close as those are marketing renderings. I imagine construction is still a year away, unfortunately.

Are they resurfacing Rebecca as part of this project? In all the renders they are showing it as having paving stones at sidewalk level.

the plan is to turn it into a semi-pedestrianized street like King William, from my understanding.

I hope this will (actually) go up one day, it'll be great for this part of town, alongside Design District (even though they arent beside each other technically)
