My weekend out and about in Los Angeles...

Saturday, August 22, 2020.

One of my favorite places in LA, ever since childhood.

My partner bought some spices here.

Some plant ideas... we want new plants for our apartment.

An after-lunch cider.

With dessert. My partner's. Sticky toffee pudding.

I had an Eton mess.

The guy on the left was speaking English with a Japanese accent. The guy on the right later said "How far is Anaheim from Irvine?" I take it he's not a local.

No registration stickers on the plate!

His t-shirt made me laugh.

My friend from high school and I used to eat here often.

You see these around LA here and there. Not as common as other states' plates.

I know to steer clear of drivers with these plates. They leave so much space between themselves and the car ahead of them.

These are fairly common plates in LA. I figured they're either transplants, or Californians that moved back and haven't re-registered their cars with the state of California yet. They can't be tourists, because often their cars are too clean.
