I agree that they can utilitze the current space a little bit better if they build up. Most of the buildings on campus are 3-4 stories. Two considerations come into play, though. The campus is along the lake and the Spokane River. Obstructing views is a real concern. As it stands now, the location of the NIC campus is one of the most beautiful & scenic in the entire country. The other concern is traffic. There are only two entrances to the campus and one main exit. It is tough, even with students getting out of classes at different times, to move everyone around (plus the residents that live in the Ft. Grounds area) in an effective manner.
