Indeed Crawford. I would say ENY, north of the Atlantic Ave and north of the Conduits (the areas where City Line and Cypress Hills/Highland Park comprises), is much different than the area south of Atlantic Ave and south of the Conduit, the area considered New Lots or ENY proper. The areas south of the 2 mentioned streets also has many infills, some of the most dangerous housing projects too within New York City, those being the Louis H. Pink Houses, the Linden Houses, and Cypress Hills Houses all around Linden BLVD, it's also much 'rougher' area than the 2 northern sub-nabes.

For those into geography and Google Earth. I drew the lines or boundaries of the sub sections/sub nabes (the areas covered with this tour) within the white lines -
