You pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one. We were a bit disappointed that a new tallest did not emerge from this most recent and very "historic" boom for the amount of tall buildings that actually made it to construction, but there are taller buildlings in the planning stages for whenever there is an economic recovery for the market. This latest "boom" produced too many short mid-rise condos.

One Bayfront Plaza, a mixed-use supertall now planned at 1,010 feet, is still on schedule to break ground sometime next year. It will not be completed until 2014-2015. Who knows what will happen between now and then? All we can do now is wait and see what else we get.
