Lumberjack Stadium was the official NAU football stadium from 1957 until the enclosed Walkup Skydome was built in 1977, which seats over 16,000. The original stadium seated 3,000 with additional uncovered seating on the opposite side. The rebuilt version will be continue to be a covered outdoor stadium, albeit with only 1,000 seats.
