It's only a fraction of the size of Gary Barnett's planned development on 8th Avenue. This will be 300,000 sf.

To be specific, the Riu Plaza New York Times Square will be situated where 8th Avenue meets 46th Street, surrounded by the most famous theatres on Broadway and next to ‘Restaurant Row’, an area that is home to modern and original restaurants which invite travellers to sample the latest gastronomic trends.
