During a three-hour Glenview Plan Commission hearing, commissioners heard plans for a five-story, 72-unit luxury apartment development on the site of the former Bess Hardware property in downtown Glenview. Residents were critical of the plans for the once village-owned property, which they said create too much density
, rob the area of parking and will make what is already a challenging traffic situation worse.
