Temple Israel of Hollywood, 1948 and 2011. Discovering that Hollywood Boulevard extended west of Laurel Canyon reminded me again of the known but quiet part of the street between the Canyon and La Brea. I know we've seen the church nearby that actor Donald Crisp nearly drove his Cadillac into (check it out
here), but here's another religious edifice worth a look.
