That's true. And in turn, Belleville is usually a cent or two lower than Kingston. That might be because of Belleville's proximity to the Tyendinaga Mohawk First Nation, which has four or five gas stations conveniently located very close to the 401.

One of the biggest local gas price differentials I saw was a day I was in both Welland and Niagara Falls. The price in Welland was 10 cents higher than in Niagara Falls. Of course, in Niagara Falls you're next to the border.
