Thanks for the trip down memory lane, boisecynic. I had forgotten how much coverage there was during the planning and construction phases of the B/C Connector. Seeing those articles again brings back many a memory.
I often wondered though, why the proposed skybridge to connect the 8th Street Marketplace (now BoDo) with The Grove was never built. It seemed like a good idea at the time. It would have eliminated the need for the current traffic signal at that location and would have made the whole 8th Street corrider more pedestrian/bicycle friendly.
