"In the 1930's by father worked for the Joe Lowe Corporation in Chicago who owned the patents on Popsicle brand.
Dad (3rd from left in group with Joe Lowe to his left) was in charge of building Popsicle plants throughout the United States.
He came to South Pasadena in 1931 to build this plant at 850-852 El Centro."
