Those 5 buildings were built as a kind of protest from the DDR boys against the Axel Springer building where on the top messages from the western world were broadcasted + they were clearly seen from former East Berlin.
Demoltion would be in order for these 5 ugly concrete buildings.

U55 is a part of the U5 extension from Alexanderplatz to Tegel and has no connection with other U-lines.The BVG has many plans but no money.
