I had thought about the Sable, but ruled it out as the Sable had wrap-around rear glass, whereas the car in the photo has a distinct body-colour C-pillar.

Hardly any Mercurys around these days as daily drivers, since the brand ended almost a decade ago. You still see a few when the classic cars come out in the summertime, though.
